“LION is a semi-autobiographical and diary-style documentary series presenting the narrator’s approach to the present day repercussions and aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine. Lion explores the consequences of radiation through seven short films, while tackling the emotional turmoil, grief and fear associated with the decline and death of a family’s matriarch.”
